Connect: Americans are struggling. We need more good jobs and leaders committed to creating them.

Define: Republican politicians admit their top priority is defeating Obama. That's why they've done everything they can to sabotage the recovery on his watch.

Illustrate: They started the Republican Recession by letting Wall Street crash the economy, sustained it with spending cuts that threw Americans out of work, and by their own admission, they'd bring it back.

Expose: Even Mitt Romney admits that massive spending cuts will “throw us into recession or depression" -- but he's for them anyway because the worse off we are under Obama, the better his political prospects.

Values: We need leaders who care more about winning for America than winning for themselves. We need more jobs and less sabotage.

ATTACK: "Obama's policies are stifling the recovery."
RESPONSE:

• Our economy is growing again, but President Obama would be the first to say it’s not growing fast enough. Our businesses have created over 4 million new jobs in the past two years, but we’re not creating them fast enough. 
• But when Washington Republicans are this determined to keep millions of Americans jobless just to put one man -- President Obama -- out of work, how surprising is that?
• That's why we need leaders who care more about winning for America than winning for themselves. We need more jobs and less sabotage.

ATTACK: "Obamacare is creating uncertainty and killing jobs growth."
RESPONSE:

• Take it from businesses themselves -- they say Republicans are the ones creating uncertainty with their threats to repeal Obamacare.
• The health care law gives small businesses more control by enabling them to band together to get the same lower rates that big corporations get and giving them tax credits to make it more affordable to cover their workers.
• Making insurance more affordable is how health reform will help American businesses create millions of jobs over the next decade. Not only that, Obamacare also means freedom for entrepreneurs to start new companies without worrying about losing their family's coverage.
• Look, Americans  are tired of Republican politicians dwelling on this. It’s time to move forward in implementing the law so that health care works for everyone. 

ATTACK: "Unlike Obama, Romney knows how to create jobs in the private sector."
RESPONSE:

• Does Mitt Romney know how to make himself and Wall Street investors very rich? Absolutely. How to offshore American jobs to China? Yup. Is he a voice for working families? No way.
• When Romney was governor of Massachusetts, he claimed his corporate experience would help him create jobs. It didn't. In fact, under Romney's governorship, Massachusetts dropped to 47th out of 50 states on job creation.
• Here's what Mitt Romney knows about our economy: how to help Wall Street make millions off of businesses that fail and make working families pay more so millionaires like him pay less.
• Americans need a president who fights for an economy that works for everyone. That means putting jobs ahead of maximizing profits for corporate executives and their wealthy investors.

• The Ryan Republican budget that Mitt Romney has endorsed could cost our economy over 4 million jobs in the next two years alone.
• Even Romney admits that massive spending cuts will “throw us into recession or depression" -- but he supports them anyway.
• Last year, Washington Republicans tried to kill over 7 million jobs. This year, they've forced Congress to leave at least 1 million jobs on the negotiating table.
• If Republican politicians hadn't pushed so hard to lay off our teachers, cops, and firefighters and block efforts to put Americans back to work fixing our roads and bridges, the unemployment rate could be down to 6% already.
• In fact, if public sector employment had grown since the official start of the recovery by the average amount it grew in the three previous recoveries, we'd have nearly 2 more million jobs today.
